The company was established in San Felice Extra (Verona) in 1975, where it began producing hernia girdles, hernia briefs, orthopaedic corsets, orthopaedic busts, abdominal bands, post-operative belts, shoulder supports and jockstraps. In 1994, we moved to the industrial zone of San Martino Buon Albergo, near the Verona Est motorway exit, bringing all our company premises together in a new complex.

On 31/07/2020, after working for 20 years in the company offices, Alessandra Marchesini became the owner of the company, and the registered office and factory were moved to Colognola Ai Colli (Verona). AWO SRL is an Italian company that produces Class I medical devices entirely in Italy. Our products are made up and in the traditional way: tailored and sewn by specialized corset makers. This is an added value that allows us to provide bespoke products tailored to the needs of our customers. The initial project was to set up a small business, but it soon became necessary to expand our horizons within Italy, extending distribution to medical and orthopaedic suppliers and pharmacies. For some years now, AWO SRL has also been working with customers from Germany, Slovenia, Hungary and Israel. Our aim for the future is to expand further on foreign markets, seeking new distributors also in new countries that are uncharted territory for us.
